How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you,but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( josephmclaughlin500@gmail.com ) for the full details.Have a nice day Thanks God bless.
Hey Craig and Bruce,
Yes, I figured we were/are all in the same boat last night. As hard as talking to him Mom was, it felt right. I just wanted her to know we all are so deeply sorry for their loss. I'll give the both of you a call soon. I wish I lived in PA as there's nothing I'd like to do more than drive to his folks place and give them both a hug and try to console them in some way. As for getting us all together, quite honestly, it just needs to be put at the top of our list. So lets get a time and place and call it a day/night to remember. Not easy given that we all live 1000's of miles apart and have kids, but lets figure it out.
Give my hellos to your families gents and thx for getting in touch.
Hey Craig,
I'm at a total loss. To even try and get a grip on what his parents are going through is not possible. I spoke to his Mom tonight for a bit. Needless to say I lasted about five seconds and just lost it. After we gathered ourselves, I just tried to express to her how much he meant to all of us. I shared a brief recap of your, Chael and my visit with him five years ago and said that I felt honored to have that memory to grab on to during this time.
She told me he was cremated as was his brother Greg. Wendell's birthday was New Years Eve and they spread his ashes over the ocean on Long Beach Island. As they did with Greg's. Again, I cannot get my arms around this and to be honest, all I'd really like to do right now is be sitting in a bar for the w/end with you and Chael remembering and sharing some tears and laughs about our friend. Aside from watching my kids sleep tonight, it's the only thing I can think of that would bring me some peace.
His Mom is sending me some things in the mail. Materials from his memorial service in CA. I'll pass you anything that might be of interest as I know how much Wendell loved you my friend.
I'll give you a shout sometime soon. When I think I can keep it together for long enough to get through a chat.
Give your family my best Craig. And thx for making that last night with Wendell a special one.
"T!!! I hope you are well. I'm in Las Vegas now, finishing up my PhD dissertation, and I have to come visit you in LA asap, b/c I have yet to go to the Wendell Bar. I miss you and my entire Standard family. "
