Thanks for joining the site Donal. You are right he did have a great soul and I am sure he had tons of love for you. He knew who were the real people were and being on his FB page means that you were one of the real people out there. Lots of bad shit went down in LA with some of his so called friends who he thought he could trust and love.
I am so glad that you had the chance to just hang with him from time to time. Wendell was one cool dude. I just toasted you with a nice glass of OJ.
He was so loved the buy many rockers the band called The Gracious Few wrote a song for him. We are working on doing a benefit concert on KC MO to support suicide awareness with them. WG family is setting up a foundation that will support suicide prevention and depression awareness. WG has a old school friend that owns a out door theater in KC that TGF are going to add to there summer tour of the US. They are going to take Wendell song Crying Time and release it as a summer time single when they tour the US. I will post info on this benefit on this site.
Really dig your work, I really liked Ground for Life, thought that was a funny show. Have not had the time to check out Terriers but I have heard really good things about it. It is on my DVR to record now.
WG Birthday is on Dec 31st New Year eve, so if you are out that night or just home have a OJ for him.
Have to ask, being from Philly and being a BIG Flyers fan, who do you follow in the great white north. I used to take WG to the old Spectrum to watch the Flyers play back in the 80's.
WG was a sick street hockey player back in the day. He was a good athlete and a super swimmer when he was younger.
