RE: WG life celebration in Philly
Hello Everyone:
I want to start buy saying thanks to EVERYONE for your amazing support and LOVE sent to me and the Green family. We all feel it all the time and it is has been a big important part of helping us all heeling. Big props to all of you out there!!!!!
The life celebration in Philly for WG was very sad at times and funny too. There were about 50 to 60 people there. Lots of the Greens home town friends and also some of WG old school class mates were there. It was excellent to see a few of the old school Marple Newtown crew along with some LBI peeps and a few of WG really really close girl friends. It made it a very a nice turn out and very loving. It was also nice to see some of the Geoff crew there too. All of you are amazing and it was nice of everyone to take time out of there day to travel make the trip.
Seeing old friends that I have not seen in over 20 years really made me feel great and I appreciate it big time for showing up for WG and his family. Thanks gang!
Geoff and Linda Green read a sweet poem together that was from the heart and soul and made me and the room cry. Great job Geoff and Linda for that sweet and loving poem.
Danny Green had some fun stories to tell too about his trips to LA and the people WG introduced him too.
George Green also spoke about WG and it was also so sweet and so loving. Once again he spoke about WG and his life and times. He was really great at both Life celebration. Philly and LA.
I was 1000 time more nervous at this Philly service then LA. I step to the POD and looked out and saw lots of people I knew and then looked right in the eyes of WG parents and then my heart and brain went out of control. Man my heart was pounding and crying inside while I was trying to speak. I had to sit down and get my shit together so I could go up for a second time and tell the story and then make some fun of him. I did the top 15 things that WG did not want people in LA to know about him and it tuned out pretty good at the Philly service. I am glad I went back and did the list. I was not going to do it because there were a lot of people that were a bit older and might not have gotten it but Geoff gave me the boost and I went up again and did the list. I am glad I did it too, thanks Geoff for the push.
I want to say thanks to Noel for sending the amazing Lei from Hawaii. The first thing I did when we started the program was to open up the box that the lei was in and place it on the Podium for all to see and smell. It was such a sweet smell from it at the POD. Thanks Noel for sending it for WG and all of us. Mr. Green wore it out and it ended up back at the house on the fire place near some WG pictures.
Lots of people went back to the Green house in Newtown and we had some laughs and some cries too.
A few of the gang went to LBI for the weekend and you know that is trouble. I have been told that it was sad, funny and important to be around the beach to start the heeling process for lots of people. I did not go to LBI on this trip and stayed back in Philly with my sister and mom.
I went to the last Phillies game of the year that Sunday with my sister with a heavy heart and had some moments of big sadness after the life celebration on Friday. We had great seats at the game and that was nice. In the 4th inning at the game the Phillies made a big come back and we were all jumping around and high 5ing each other for a few minutes. After jumping around all of a sudden all the weight and pressure of this weekend and the LA service just washed away. Man it was weighing me down and it was such a relief to let this part of my brain go. It was a long time coming and it was needed bad for me to start to move on and get some closure. For the first time in a few month after that I got 8 hours of sleep and was not thinking about what to say at the POD abut WG etc. the stress of all of it washed away so fast and then it hit me hard that I got through it with all the love and support from so many of you. Can not thank you all enough for keeping me grounded and on a semi positive plan. They won the game in the bottom of the 10th and that was SWEET too. Go PHILLIES.
I am going to be back in Philly producing a meeting from Oct 25th thru the 28th and then I am going to take a mini vacation. I plan on taking my mom and WG mom to a lunch or dinner when I am back home in Philly. Looking forward to that big time.
It is hard for me to write the entire what’s in my heart and mind, WAY to much to type and writing is not one of my strong points. If anybody wants to know about what happen in Philly or in LA please email me or you can even call me at my home – 407- 540-1726. I am a night owl too so please do not worry about calling late night.

Also super big thanks to my dear friend Cheyenne who made this WG web site in 4 hours the 3rd day after WG death. Cheyenne is a true gentleman and some one who needs to be recognized for having a big heart and actually he is about 6’ 7” tall. He is the creature and the web master for the site so please drop him a line or two to thank him for this WG web site. You is on the WG page. It helps me deal with WG not being around. Please post pictures and stories if you can. Once again big daddy you are such a great friend and I will never forget that you took time out of your busy life and helped me and the Green family and all of his friends out with this site. He is the man.
I also need some help from some one who has Matt Copley cell number or home number in Philly. Can you please pass it a long to me. He is going through a hard time too and I want to give him a call. He called me in Philly and I thought I saved his number but it did not take. Please send you love to him.
Also a dear friend of WG named Judy who was going to be at the Philly service and who made the NYC WG service at the Coffee shop happen had her father pass the week of the WG service. Please if you know Judy send your love to her and her family. She is a VERY IMPORTANT person in WG life. She got him stated in NYC and he took off from there. Judy we love you so much and hope are doing well.

I am a homer still so I do have to say GO Phillies, Flyers, Eagles and Sixers too. Hoping to go to the Eagles game on Nov 1st with my sister Vs the NY Giants. Dress warm!
