in our world of "instant" everything alongside facebook and twitter, i found myself wondering whatever happened to my old friend wendell green. well, needless to say, i stumbled across this site . . . and instantly my heart sank.

i knew wendell back in the days when he worked at the Coffee Shop in NYC. saying that now, makes it seem like another lifetime ago (which it practically was). and to think of wendell, i remember great conversations, way too many free drinks, and laughing - a lot of laughing. but, what i remember most about him was that he was an incredibly sweet person, who would never have said a derogatory word about anyone. wendell was smart, clever, and engaging - a very rare combination by any standard. there is no doubt that his spirit and presence will be truly missed.

my thoughts and prayers are, and will continue to be, with all of you - his family and friends, during this difficult time of transition.
